And that's a good thing. The PlayStation Blog is already pointing everyone in the direction of early reviews for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves , and you can see why.
After wowing everyone at E3 and taking home 20 different awards – including 6 "Best in Show" honors – everyone has been waiting for October 13, the day when the next truly legitimate Game of the Year contender hits the market. And the critics are already responding: there was that leaked review from French publication PSM3 that had Naughty Dog's sequel busting through the ceiling; it scored an impossible 21/20. Then, the Official PlayStation Magazine scored it a perfect 5 out of 5, followed by another perfect score – 10 out of 10 – from UK publication GamesRadar. IGN just popped up a score of 9.5 and we're all willing to bet that you're anxiously awaiting our review. Well, we don't rush into the biggest titles of the year. We always want to give you the most in-depth and accurate analysis possible and besides, what difference does it make…? You can't buy the game for several more weeks anyway, so when it comes time to finally make a purchase decision (as if it's any decision at all, really), we'll be sure to tell you what we think. We have to go into every review with a blank slate brain…but damn, it's hard to do sometimes.
Perhaps it shouldn't surprise us that Uncharted 2 leads our weekly poll by a landslide. You guys saw this coming, didn't ya? Yeah, we got some smart readers out there. 😉

Oh man, it looks superb. Yet another fantastic game that 360 doesnt have.
We don't need to put down the Xbox 360 like that lol 🙁
This and Modern Warfare 2 are on my must buys list and personal GOTY's. I have yet to pick up Batman:AA. 🙁
Pick up Batman damnit!!
I'm really, really (have to over emphasis the 'really's) lookin forward to this game but all the build up for it is starting to ruin it for me.It's like Christmas, we know it's a great time of the year but the build up starts way too early and ruins it because we're sick of hearing about it. Same thing with this game. Way, way too much hype. We all know it's gonna be a kick ass game but now I'm just getting tired of hearing Uncharted2 this and Uncharted2 that. Previews being rated more then their reporters rating system allows for. Too much information being revealed about the game, before we even play it we'll already feel like we have.
I think there's gotta be major love out there for the Naughty Dog crew for banging together a real next gen game, and for spoiling us gamers rotten with all the extra's and decent price for a really high end product. Lets just stop flapping our lips about it and get the game out there so we can all get dug in to kicking some next gen ass!!!
Lol, I'm expecting a 9.9 from y'all Ben =P
why not an 11? LBP did it last year. this may not hit in the replay as high but i see a perfect 10 at least…
What happens if they don't like it and give it like 5.5!? It happens you know.

saw and read IGN review, awesome….can't wait for oct. 13th to pick up my pre-order.
I think the variety in level design (environmentally) may pull me away from Killzone 2. The one thing I wish they would have done with the multiplayer is create more diverse weather (i.e. Beach Head). I would have loved to have seen a snow level in that game.
But this game is shaping out beautifully!
Even though i wasnt thrilled with the multiplayer experience during the beta a while back, its actually looking more appealing each time i see a new screen shot or video clip of a new level.
I'm not reading any reviews until I own it. Some reviewers have big mouths or are simply inconsiderate towards those who'd rather experience the game first hand. I know this game is going to be great, I can live without the "wait until you see level 7" crap.
The IGN video review wasn't bad. Enough info without spoiling anything.
This game just looks absolutely incredible. I can't wait for this to come out.
The MP demo is so much fun. I was in the earlier beta which was fun but it seemed to lack something. But ever since I loaded it this time around I can't put down the controler. With all of the unlocks and abilities this game has a lot of depth. Can't wait for the full release because this is such a great game.
Good job naugthy dog, you'll get my money for sure. Can't wait till oct. 13 when I get to try the game for myself. What do you think monzter?
I'm absolutely excited about Uncharted 2!
I'm really excited for this game, been waiting to get on the MP beta but still no luck getting codes. Must have game for ps3 owners for sure.
fail repeat post x3
Fail repeat post…? -_-
Dude, just go back to whatever demon forum you came from [bet you say PSXE xD].

Still basking in the beta over here 🙂
I gave my code away. I really want the whole experience to be fresh from the beginning of the game, not to be captain spoiler avoider but this game is making me weird like that.
Way to Commit Chuck! That's why I refuse to play any FFXIII demo that comes out before the game.
T-T the games this gen….er…im looking forward to nier
Wow.. even IGN gave it a high score. That should tell the story on how close to perfection this game is;I hope you guys do a review soon.
all this positive press and i have no intention at all to buy it
not every thing is for every body.
Yeah, some people just don't dig awesomeness!
That is understandable but it makes no sense whatsoever why you are bragging about it. Especially here.
Absolutely pointless.
why cant IGN give it 10/10 argggh
Its funny how many reviewers are afriad to give games a perfect score. It seems like their job is to never give a perfect score and act like every game could be better. So seeing all these perfects and beyond is really exciting
When the scale is 100 points (e.g., IGN or psxextreme), I don't mind, but when the scale is 20 points (i.e., 1 to 10 with half-points), 10 points, or 5 points, it makes no sense not to use the top score. A top score doesn't mean the game has to be flawless, just top-tier.

GTAIV got 10s and it was all farked up in places.
200 pigeons FTW!
if I am the only one here not thrilled about uncharted, so let it be… i just dont like shooters. (i dont consider MGS is shooter, it is a story driven saga with so much emotions, so please dont correct me on that)

Okay okay.
But Drake has feelings tooooo 😉
What? How is MGS4 not a shooter, and Uncharted is? Uncharted isn't story-driven? If you played the first Uncharted, you would've noticed how much MGS4 borrows from Uncharted even to the last boss fight. Both games attempt to blur the line between cinema and games. If you liked one, you will like the other.
I want to see what Edge and Eurogamer got to say about this game.
I hope you mean that in a skeptical way.
Hahahahah
Their bias is so pathetic that I can't even sink in their reviews to mind anymore. It's automatic sandbagness.
the people at naughty dog are pretty good at polishing up every game they make til it shines past a lot of what is out there at the time it comes out. jak and daxter games may not have been for everyone but no doubt they were amazing games. i was in the multiplayer beta earlier this year and it got me interested in playing uncharted: drakes fortune. i never was into tomb raider and uncharted always seemed like a tomb raider. they are close but uncharted is so much better and way more polished. i cant wait for this game now
wait wait wait. Uncharted and Tomb Raider are NOTHING alike. Cripes, how could you even say that? Have you ever played the mess that is Tomb Raider 1-infinity?
how are they nothing alike, both have guns and are third person, both have you doing crazy jumps and climbing crazy sh** and doing puzzles at the same time. i stopped paying attention to tomb raider after the first couple so i have no idea where it went but the first couple tomb raiders and uncharted drakes fortune share a lot of things in common. i dont know how you say they are nothing alike.
i will agree that uncharted makes tomb raider look like a big pile
Ok. It's just that you said Tomb Raider so I started seeing red.
Tomb raider always reminded me more of the first Prince of Persia. Insta-kill blades are always a turn off for me.
@ Alienange
The traps at the end of Ch. 4 of Uncharted are one-hit kills and they don't even have giant blades.
I've only played TR: Legend and TR: Anniversary (i.e., not earlier ones), but I see a lot of similarities. I think Uncharted does many things better (and is significantly better overall), but the environmental puzzles are better in TR: Legend (and it is hardly "a big pile").
