Teasing isn't a nice thing to do. It's sort of amusing for a little while but at some point, you want fulfillment. …feel free to pass this along to your girlfriend or significant other, as they're likely lacking this information.
Game Informer editor Andrew Reiner is being a bit of a tease right now, as you can see by his latest Twitter update . He says the next issue features "two huge exclusives," one of which is currently unannounced. We have no idea what that one could be, but who wants to bet the announced exclusive is Gran Turismo 5 ? The rumors have been flying concerning a release date for the game; we've heard about a PS3 Slim GT5 bundle supposedly slated for December 4 and most recently, an "extremely reliable source" said it will actually arrive in the UK on September 25 . But either way, GT5 would make for a perfect fit. As for the other title; the "unannounced" one, we'd like to think it's something for the PlayStation 3, but it could just as easily be for another system. If it is for the PS3, we'd love to see a new Kingdom Hearts , Twisted Metal , or Heavenly Sword , and we're certain you guys have your hopeful preferences. Just don't get your hopes up for a Final Fantasy VII remake, okay? You won't be able to handle the dejection again.
So anyway, keep an eye out for the newest Game Informer, and if our guess is right, you'll be leafing through some gorgeous screenshot goodness featuring the hottest cars on the planet.
Hope it will be kingdom hearts 3 or maybe another final fantasy XIII game.
**pleads and bleats pathetically**
For the love of all that is good and right, just give me my GT5.
Hm, my curiousity has been slightly drawn… A bit off topic I feel like a lazy bum for actually seeing this as soon as it was posted
OFF TOpic; yup, im just bored though.
twisted metal sounds good to me
Game Informer, eh? So what would make one think these exclusives have anything to do with the PS3?
And Ben, teasing isn't a nice thing to do. It's sort of amusing for a little while, but at some point, we want fulfillment.
You never should have told us about an unannounced exclusive that we won't be able to hear about for several months 😉

In all honesty, we didn't really know how long we'd have to keep it under wraps.
was it ever announced or you still keeping it under wraps
also how do you know the two exclusives are ps3 related? :S
It hasn't been announced yet.
Ben what will you do if Game Informer announces it in this issue? I'd be angered. Hulk-like even.
ok, does anyone else get the feeling that ben might know something about a ffvii remake that he's just not allowed to say just yet? i keep noticing how he side-talks about it in more and more articles. maybe he wants us to give up hope so can go 'BAMM!! look at this!' when the embargo is off…
I agree. Same way he talked about the Slim.
Wouldn't surprise me. Though I believe he is more at the point of being pessimistic about it that way if it does not happen, nothing new but if/when it does happen it'll be good news all around.
On that note, just for sake I'm calling it now…
FFVII remake.

very, very good point…. *glares at ben*
I BELIEVE GT5 is coming this year, we're gonna get bankrupt, get used to it!
Next time you wouldn't accuse Sony of having NO games, now look what they're doing to us.
Lol, good point.
Is Twisted Metal supposed to be really fun? I keep hearing it on this website.
If you play it, you will understand.
Some of my best video game memories from my stoned early 20s (the few memories that I actually have) include many hours of split screen TM on the PS1. It was fun defined, at the time. I can only imagine what a top-gen TM game would be like on the PS3, but it would have to be awesome.
Dude.
I remember when Game Informer came out with that Uncharted2 cover story, good issue I must say. I wouldn't say the Twisted Metal games were supposed to be fun because they were. So I'm assuming Ben will have an article whipped up as soon as everyone else starts revealing it?

lol @ the irony: https://temp.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/5705.html
Not complaining, just pointing out that sometimes your fly's open just as much as the next guy's.
So? 😉
Rock out with your caulk out!
Is this 'tease' the same as yours Ben?
Yes, I'm blatantly fishing. 😉
I think it's Kingdom Hearts III and Gran Turismo 5
I think it's Halo 4 and Gears of War 3… both exclusively for PS3!!!
Anyone hear anything about GT5 headtracking? is it true?
I think the psEye is supposed to be able to track your head turns, but I can't recall where I read this
Little Big Planet 2?
….Why?
New Ape Escape?
Yes!
Some monkey action!
Fun series, hope they give it a go
god yes i loved the old ape escape games.
and please another pandemonium games.
sony needs to bring back there kid games, they were some of the best exclusives.
sly cooper, crash bandicoot, jak and daxter, ratchet and clank.
they were the best games on ps2, and they dropped them.
if i was sony i would be throwing money at these guys to make more of these.
especially crash bandicoot.
i would be in heaven if crash bandicoot 3 warped got a sequel or remake.
than add on CTR and crash bash…… excuse me while i go change my pants.
Slightly off topic I know but why go on about a Final Fantasy VII remake ? Why not Final Fantasy 6 or 5 or 2 or 3 etc ? Whats special about 7 ?
Now before anyone jumps on me thumbing down etc. I am just asking as I have never played a Final Fantasy game in my life and just wanna know whats with a Final Fantasy 7 remake why that one in particular ? Is it like the best one or something ?
FF7 was (subjectively) one of the largest leaps in gaming history, let alone RPGs. Every aspect of it, from graphics, storyline, content, replayability etc were so far ahead of the competition at the time, that it was a game that many gamers, like myself, have burned into their memory. The experience that many gamers at the time had was so revolutionary, that it is a yardstick that is still used today.
In short, yes, it was the best. The ones before it were great, the ones after it were awesome, but VII defined a generation. Like Studio 54 or somethin.
ive got a funny feeling that was what GRIN was working on, till they went bust.
we all know it was a FF remake but which one is unknown.
"The unannounced game is multi-system."
If you don't want us dejected, then why bother to mention it 😛
I'm guessing it will be for 360, and that's cool because those guys reeeeaaaally need some games. And dual system owners need a reason to either dust that thing off or load it up in it's coffin and ship it off for another fix.
Well no news is good news i guess 🙂
Ben knows it all 🙁
Hopefully the other one isn't that new "AAA FPS" -_-
I hope for twisted metal i loved that game. I think i had the ps1 version and my friends and i played it everyday. I think i still have my copy too. Matter a fact i just found my original grant turismo game too. Man have the graphics changed lol
With FF versus on the radar i dont think we will ever get FF7 anytime soon. maybe 2013. but i think the another Huge exclusive might be Folklore 2
The 2 games are: Crackdown 2 and a new IP from Ninja Theory
The name of the new IP from Ninja Theory is called "Enslaved"
How about a Twisted Metal add-on for GT5? Awesome graphics and missles. They could add a "road rage" mode.
that picture….it's scary.
