November is a pretty full month – as usual – and Activision has no qualms about making it a little fuller.
While many publishers have decided to push their promising titles out of 2009 and into 2010 to avoid competing with the guaranteed blockbusters (several of which come from Activision), the latter publisher doesn't have any problem with their own titles battling for position. According to GameSpot , it has been confirmed that Blur will be headed to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 3. This date applies to North America; the game will launch in Europe three days later (there's that three days gap again) on November 6. Developer Bizarre Creations was responsible for the popular and critically acclaimed racing franchise Project Gotham Racing , which was exclusive to the Xbox. Then, Activision snapped 'em up and not surprisingly, Blur is a multiplatform title. This game will feature 50 licensed cars, real-world locales, and a variety of bad-ass power-ups to make your intense racing experience that much more entertaining. If something like Gran Turismo isn't your bag and you spent a great deal of time with games like Burnout Paradise , then you should definitely give Blur a chance.
Of course, as we just said, there are many other great titles scheduled for November, so you'll have to decide where Blur ranks on your priority list. Perhaps it's best suited to the holiday wish list…?
