Bayonetta is becoming more popular by the second. It will not only make a big splash at Comic-Con next week, it will also launch in late October with a couple extra goodies…totally free of charge.
First up, it has been confirmed that Platinum Games will put this hotly anticipated action title into the limelight at Comic-Con, where attendees will learn a great deal more about the game. There will be a hands-on demo at Sega's booth (sweet!), a "Making of Bayonetta" behind-the-scenes event complete with Q&A, a cosplay contest, and oh yes, a live action model of Bayonetta herself. …is anyone else desperately hoping to see some pics of this flesh-and-blood Bayonetta? On top of this, the latest issue of Famitsu has revealed the official release date: October 23 . Better yet, those who decide to pre-order the game will receive a special art booklet and soundtrack CD for no additional charge. This should come as a relief; we've been bombarded with details of massive Collectors and Special editions for impending blockbusters, but this time, we get some cool stuff for free (pre-ordering doesn't cost you anything extra). Sega may be preparing a special edition of some kind, but we don't yet have the details and we're already satisfied with the regular ol' game and our two extras. Also, we should note that with several big-name titles getting delayed until 2010, Bayonetta has a better chance of performing well during the holidays.
For our part, the game remains in the midst of our "most-wanted" list for 2009, and we just can't wait to give it a try. So long as it's just like Devil May Cry , we're happy, and personally, I'm plenty secure enough in my masculinity to play as a female lead role. How's about you ?

That's the Japanese Release Date. Bayonetta in USA has been pushed back to January 2010.
Where did you get that date? GameStop still has the game listed as Sept. 1.
Anyway, even if it is delayed, this is the perfect game to import.

Kotaku has this game as delayed until 2010. I am now concerned that there will be a glut of games I really want all coming out at the same time early next year. I think Devs are missing the point.
Booooo, all the games we were promised in 09 got pushed to 10, not that I can afford them all now but still, they shouldn't tease us.
I doubt we will see FFXIV in 10 too, gonna be 11.

according to IGN western lands aint getting this till january 2010.
thats why i hate japanese games they allways give us the shaft and make us wait a extra few months for the games.
if its out this year ill grab it.
