You know, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a damn fun game, even if its not exactly stellar. And if you're a fan of Wolverine, it's highly recommended that you give it a whirl.
As of now, there's more incentive to do just that. According to IncGamers , the first set of extra downloadable content for Wolverine has been released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This DLC features the Weapon X Arena (comprised of 4 unique combat simulators) and a Custom Combat Arena. The latter allows players to create their own swarms of enemies for practice; you can string together everything from Jungle Grapplers to Machine Gunners for the ultimate in practice sessions. Then there's the Ladder Challenge, which pits you against up to 50 waves of oncoming baddies, provided you've already faced every enemy in the game. Lastly, the environmental simulator consists of all the cool background items Wolverine can use as weapons; whether you want to toss forklift skids or slam opponents into certain things like computer consoles, that's your business. This should be available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace now, so hop on to check it out. It's well worth your time if you've enjoyed your Wolverine adventure thus far.
Really, the game turned out to be quite entertaining, and some even like to say it's better than the movie. The trend of "all video games based on movies must suck" seems to be dying out thanks to a few select titles…

Will this be a free add-on? I ask because I already have the Weapon X arena from pre-ordering my copy of the game from EB Games. I won't be able to justify paying for this add-on when I already own a part of it.
i think you might own all of it. it sounded like everything is already on the pre-order bonus that you must have gotten already.
Yeah, that sounds exactly like the bous I got too. If it is free, well, I got for free, if not, well I still got it first, and for free.
Just ask your local gamestop bud to give you a card. They got a crapload of them, maybe offer him half of what the PSN is selling it for.
I hope its free, this game just came out and DLC for $$$ so soon would be absurd.
Look at what RE5 did, $5 extra for something that had already been created.
it's bogus.
I haven't seen the content available in the PSN store yet, has anyone else?
