As if people weren't talking enough about the impending (and as yet unconfirmed) gigantic announcements at Sony's E3 press conference, we've got another one for you.
As most of you know, Epic Games is responsible for the immensely popular and critically acclaimed Gears of War franchise, but despite any rumors you may have heard, they have no plans to bring it to the PlayStation 3. However, perhaps as an act of contrition (forgive the melodrama), Epic will announce a new exclusive project for Sony's machine at E3. According to Examiner.com , Epic is prepared to reveal a "brand new horror-based title" that will use a "more refined" version of the Unreal Engine 3. Now, you may remember that Unreal Tournament 3 was a timed exclusive for the PS3, but supposedly, this will be exclusive exclusive. The information comes from a "very credible source" but until we hear it directly from the horse's mouth next week, we certainly can't call it official. But it's enough to get people talking simply because Epic is very well respected, and any PS3 exclusive is big news to fans of the console.
Anyway, our list of "what to look out for" at E3 has grown yet again and it's starting to get a little unmanageable. This show needs to happen soon .
