It's the best PlayStation 3 exclusive since Killzone 2 launched in late February and it has already pulled down plenty of high review scores.

According to DevelopMag , Sony cites the positive critical acclaim as the cornerstone for their "high hopes" for inFamous . The game just recently hit store shelves in North America and as you can see from our review, it's well worth your time. Intense and satisfying in most every sense of the word, Sucker Punch's great production is a feather in the PS3's cap. Said a SCEE spokesperson:

"We have high hopes for InFamous, which are backed up by a number of high profile, and very positive, specialist and mainstream press review scores."

And, wonder of wonders, we just saw a commercial for the game a few hours ago! Yeah, we were surprised too. We saw TV ads for Killzone 2 , which was a definite novelty at the time, but it finally seems as if Sony is willing to fork over the marketing bucks for exclusive titles. They're also running a 30-second trailer for inFamous at select movie theaters around the country, so hopefully, Sony's expectations for the game are realized. It's certainly good enough to haul down impressive sales numbers.

It's worth it, the game is great so far, still on first playthrough, playing as a Hero, next playthrough gonna be inFamous =D lol. Also have you seen the new commercial for the game? It has an old-like PS3 ending and it's epic

Haha, I love the robo "Playstation" voice from the old days. I wondered if I was the only one who caught that. I'm definitely picking up this game next time I get paid, the demo was outstanding.

Got my pre-order from Amazon (yay release-date delivery!). Haven't had a whole lot of time to play it yet but it seems pretty cool so far.

In a robotic vioce "PlayStation"

These inFamous commercials take me back to the good ole days. Sony needs to give that person and/or people a raise for working on the commercial.

But yeah back to the topic.
inFamous is going to do great in sales I just know it.

It's about time that Sucker Punch Productions leaps ahead of Insomniac Games and Naughty Dog when it comes to their exclusive Sony software. With inFamous, they have done so. Of course, I have a feeling Uncharted 2: Among Thieves might even be better…

I've seen the commercial come up during the past couple of NBA playoff games. The one with the comic pages.

I've seen the commercial probably 4 or 5 times in like 2 days in the very few hours of late night television I watch. I'd say it's getting fair treatment.

The commercial is very cool looking, but again, doesn't show enough actual in-game footage.

I expect this to sell better than Killzone 2,why? Cause it's unique and third person for a change, too many same ol' fps games out there.

I wish it would sell better but you have to remember that today's generation is dependent on one thing(excluding myself)and it's Online play.

I bought it launch day yesterday and absolutely love this game. It is hard to put the controller down and go to bed. Just love all the particle effects going on and the lighting and dam.. I love everything..Great fun!! If you have any doubts, don't. Go get it. The demo is only a taste of the amazing stuff you will do in the game.

Another Kick Ass exclusive for the No.1 console on the market. Sorry 360 fans, go play Gears 2

I just saw that X-Play gave inFAMOUS a 5 out of 5. Morgan's review is quite funny too…she starts out saying it's a 5 out of 5 and then saying it's more fun to play 5-star games and more fun to review 1-star games and then reluctantly does the review. The only 'just OK' thing is the story…but those usually have low expectations in video games. Finally, the last line is, "If you have a PS3 and you don't play inFAMOUS, you're dumb."

I kinda gave up on X-play when it became clear that the producers and 'writers' of the show were very pro Xbox360 and quite anti-PS3 in their opinions. I also hate the newer ADD friendly format and slightly more corporate approach. When Sessler and Webb were pretty much left to their own opinions the show was more humorous, and the reviews (painful as they sometimes were for some games) were generally spot on. Too many times I've seen them drool over some generic 360 or Wii game and eviscerate a PS3 title for some of the same things that were evidently a major plus on other platforms.

Don't even get me started on their traditional hate/hate relationship with games that have cut scenes…

If Sessler and Webb ever start showing the backbone and independence that they used to have, I may watch again. Until then, I shall mourn the passing of what was the only TV video game show worth watching.

Finally saw a PS3 exclusive ad last night on TV for this game. In fact I saw it like 3 times in 30 minutes. It seems Sony's really standing behind this one…odd that they would promote this one more than they would Killzone though..but whatever. The fact that Sony is actually advertising something now, is good to see.

I'm a huge fan of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, and they are running adds for Infamous like crazy. I probably see around 5 or 6 with in the course of a few hours.

I finished the Neon district last night (100%). I'm loving the game. It's the best sandbox style game I've ever played. In my humble opinion it's a 9.5 out of 10.

I just got the game two days ago, and it's freakin' amazing! I can't believed I doubted on pre-ordering it, now I don't regret it at all! Oh, and I also got the Uncharted 2 beta code as well as some special edition goodies (art book, extra powers etc.).

Although I love this game, I think it lacks the level of polish that I've come to expect from my PS3 games.

In my first few hours of playing I have already run into a number of very frustrating situations. Like getting shot by a reaper and not being able to tell where its coming from. Nobody on the minimap, no tracers from the bullets, nobody in plain sight. Or trying to climb down a building and grabbing onto every single ledge. I've even become trapped in a building. I've also had a few times where I died and have no idea why. The screen was still full color so I wasn't low on health, I wasn't in a boss fight, but *boom* I'm dead. And I think some of the animations look a little weird too.

But all said this is an awesome game. None of the problems are enough to hold me back from enjoying myself.
