Developers can be such teases in the weeks before E3, and while it's understandable, it's still a touch irritating. Most of the time, we're just sitting here staring at the screen, rolling our eyes and saying, "geez, just tell us."

But anyway, it seems High Voltage Software has something big to reveal at this year's show. These guys are currently developing The Conduit – one of the most anticipated Wii releases of the year – and it will be on display at E3. But in addition and according to Electronic Theatre , there's much more to come. A new unannounced IP will be unveiled "behind closed doors" to select members of the media. Said Kerry J. Ganofsky, CEO and founder of High Voltage Software:

"2009 is already shaping up to be a groundbreaking year for this studio. The release of The Conduit is just around the corner and there is more to come. We feel that E3 is the perfect opportunity to show off our hard work and give a taste of our very latest project.

Chief Creative Officer Eric Nofsinger added a specific "guarantee," in that the team will continue to "push our technology to the absolute limit in order to deliver experiences that are beyond jaw-dropping." Well, that certainly sounds promising, doesn't it? Whatever they have to announce may be overshadowed by bigger announcements from the likes of Sony (and Konami), but that doesn't mean High Voltage's project isn't significant. It's merely a bit lower on the totem pole, and we still want to know what it is…

Being that The Conduit is a Wii exclusive, I have a feeling that it will suffer the same fate as MadWorld. I hope they start to divert there focus from the Wii.

SEGA has been doing a great job with new interesting IPs. I'm really looking forward to Bayonetta.

man mad world looked cool. i hope this does better. how bad did mad world do? is it bad just for the wii or bad for any console? i mean say there are 30 wii's they sell 8 games. now there are 10 other consoles they sell 8 games. it would like like they did good on the other consoles. (haha maybe they'll port mad world over when we get the motion controller… i hope so)

According to VG Charts MadWorld sold .20 million and it's sales are dropping like a rock. The art style looks really cool, but supposedly the game can be completed in about 6 hours or so.

I think everyone packed their Wii away into the closet already so they don't bother with new games for it. Bad decision to release it on that one.

Maybe the game they announce will look less generic and dull than The Conduit. High Voltage said they had three new unannounced "Wii exclusives" to show off at E3 so I don't know where Ben is going with this.

A middle finger to go with the thumbs up and thumbs down is needed for the WII and 360.

My girlfriend has a Wii, so I have played a decent amount of Wii games. My favorite by far is Super Mario Galaxy. That's a great game. I want to check out Zelda also, but it's not really the type of game you can pick up and play for a few minutes here and there.

You should definitely check out Twilight Princess. I know what you mean about not being able to spend a few min on it, but you should really give it a go, it's an amazing game.

I cant wait to play the Conduit, but Madworld would of been even more gorgeous if it was on Ps3 also. The black and white textures would of popped out in HD!
