Ben-DutkaOkay, before we get ahead of ourselves, let's take a nice close look at all the available evidence.
First of all, we heard that a member of Hideo Kojima's staff said the master's new game will be unveiled in T minus three days and counting. This means we'd get the announcement well before E3, which is when we initially believed it would arrive. Next, another source said the game would be revealed on May 18, which is a little after that "T minus three days" prediction, but still a good two weeks before E3. Finally, it appears that the latest Famitsu features a teaser advertisement that involves the "new game from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima," and this picture you see here accompanies that ad. And so, people are starting to wonder what it might be; Siliconera has guessed at Tornado Outbreak , which is a game that doesn't technically exist, but it should at some point. GameFly shows the game in their database with Konami as the publisher, and it's slated to release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. …now, this seems like a strange project for Kojima, but then again, we might be taking that title too literally.
Either way, the rumor is now that Kojima's new game is Tornado Outbreak , and it seems we'll learn of the truth within one week's time. If not, we can always look forward to E3.

i was thinking that it may not be the tornado game… like since we have no confirmation, it could be anything!!!
hell it could be gunfights in the middle of bum-frack nowhere during cloudy weather…

you never know, but with kojima behind the wheel, i doubt this game has anything to do with cyclones…

Wow, if it's a tornado game, COOL, that would certainly be different.
Some many possibilities, so little time…..
Maybe a "storm chaser" type game?
Maybe your in charge of a early warning system?
Or it could be a run for your lives, & then rebuild the town game?
Or become some kind of hometown hero/rescuer in it's aftermath???
Or, you ARE the tornado! And YOU get to destroy the town and suck up people into your torrent vacuum. Bwahahahaha!!!
All I can say is whatever Kojima makes will most definetly be awesome.
So far all I've been able to find that are actual things are the two people standing on the left page close to the center of the two pages. And the house that's underneath the 5 in the bush. You'll need a higher res picture to see it, here. Ignore the image in the sky someone photo shopped in.

Good find. I see a house to the right of the one you see, at the edge of the page behind the dead bush. And what kind of people would stand in the middle of a field, so far away from their house, with the potential for tornadoes all around them? Maybe they want to get sucked up. Wizard of Oz game, I called it.
Also, I tried to go to the site under the date, but it says 404 error not found.

Does it matter at all that there's a Foxhound symbol in the lower right corner? Isn't that symbol only a part of the MGS universe, or is it a part of the konami brand or something?
When I saw that thing I thought MGS and was frankly surprised when tornadoes were brought into the conversation.
It's the Kojima Productions logo not specifically MGS, tho it is the Foxhound symbol.
Sounds interesting might be great but I really hope this isn't the game he is going to announce.A new Zote or mgs would make gamers very happy.

I haven't downloaded it, gonna wait a while to make sure there's no problems like that other one that bricked some systems.
So, does anyone know what's in it?

WARNING: On the PSN's PS3 forum, some of the 60 & 40 GB owners canare having problems now, they said that 2.76 update has caused them to get error codes 1/2 through the download…

I run a 60GB and updated last night with no incident.
Considering that the 60GB and 40GB systems use very different motherboards, it's highly unlikely that any firmware problem of this type is related to the hardware, it's more likely to be an issue related to a configuration parameter, basically something to do with software. The other possibility is hard disc space. THese firmware updates download a compressed file, which must be decompressed to install,m and that process itself will require a certain amount of workspace. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that those having issues also have very full HDDs.
Whether it has an impact on firmware updates or not, I would advise that you always have a minimum of 1GB free and clear on your system's HDD. All software uses some temp space, and when you're downloading 150+MB, decompressing it and installing something, you will need some space.
Will it feature the tire that was in the trailer of "Twister" but not in the movie?
I'm gonna wait until an official announcement, because this is kinda disappointing. Kojima is a master storyteller, and I don't see a very interesting story behind being a stormchaser. Although with Kojima nothing is official until the final cutscene.
I think people are taking this a little too literally. I'm thinking maybe a Stephen King-esque monster/mysterious-thing arriving around the same time as or maybe causing tornadoes. Maybe that's just cause I'm reading Stephen King right now…
Oh and what exactly do you mean by the game "doesn't technically exist"?

Lol I watched Signs last week and that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture. Specifically the part when Graham, Morgan and Bo are looking at the book by Dr. Bimbu and they get to the picture with the house on fire, the Space ship blasting off and the three dead bodies on the lawn.

@GuernicaReborn: why do u need 8dvds to cover up mgs4?well ps3 version of mgs4 filled up the whole blue ray disk because it had the dolby hd soundtracks……n all the audio files were in looseless format………..but tell me how many of you guys have a thx certified sound system to get the full potentiality of that feature?
360 port of mgs4 will come in 2 disk dvd
1 for the solo campaign n 1 for the multiplayer game
besides the 360 port will have true 720p resolution coupled with 2x MSAA…..now kojima will be satisfied……..cuz 360 xenos can handle more polygons than rsx

If he want to do the next Metal gear multi ok but only if it really dont affect the final product.. personally I would like to metal gear to go to pc if that makes the game better.
If it does get ported, how much work would Kojima really have to do? I mean, couldn't he have his employees do the code for him?
I really wish I was super computer savvy and knew stuff like this. Is it that hard to port a game from PS3 to 360?
I really dont know but even if take 3-4 months I dont agree and seriously at this point if someone really want to play the game just buy a Ps3 now you dont have the excuse of ''It dont have games'' .
gawd xbox owners wants all! xbox 360 has the squarenix jrpg's but they never are happy.
No offense dude, but the polygon count for RSX is higher, though the 360's GPU has cheaper anti-aliasing. Having cheaper anti-aliasing isn't the same as pushing more polygons. But considering just how many polygons either GPU can shove out the HDMI port, it's a wash since both are more than capable of video that can saturate the HDMI link.
As for MGS4 on the 360 – let's drop that whole 'will' thing. It's a possible maybe at best.

Well I have no idea what the new game from Kojima will be, but I hope it has a horror element to it. You know something like Siren or Silent Hill….Kojima style. Imagine that.

The first thing I thought of when looking at the image was Stormbringer.
Mournblade (related to Stoprmbringer) is featured in a Konami game – one of the Castlevania games.

A HD 2d sidescrolling Castlvania would be to die for.
