It's a franchise that has seen better days, but with each new installment, there's fresh hope.
As PlayStation Lifestyle pointed out, former Factor 5 lead environmental artist Jericho Green is currently working on something interesting for EA: a new Medal of Honor ! You can see the evidence at Green's LinkedIn page ; just scroll down to find the information that he is the environment artist for EA for the new title, which means we may see an unveiling of some sort at E3. Medal of Honor: Airborne was a mediocre FPS that had plenty of potential but failed to deliver in a variety of areas; perhaps now that EA has had extra time to become familiar with the PS3 and 360, they'll give us something more worthy of our attention. We still remember the early days of this series, which included downright stellar entries like Medal of Honor: Frontline and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault . Since then, we've been waiting and hoping for a rejuvenation of sorts, and perhaps this new MoH effort will represent that long-awaited boost. Of course, the competition in this genre is stiffer than ever, but EA has produced some pretty great stuff over the past year.
We'll be on the lookout for any information concerning this Medal of Honor game; as soon as we find any, we'll be sure to let you know.
plz be another front line……that game was the one that hooked me on FPS.
same here man ,frontline was great.
Hopefully they can finally make a superb MOH game the others are just boring.
Yeah Airborne was garbage. The PS2 MoHs were great though.
I just hope they do the storming of normandy in this one, because that was the best level in MOH:frontline, and with the ps3 they could make it much more realistic.
Man crossing fingers it's another frontline as well, the last MOH was blah but frontline was amazing.
Allied Assault was the FPS that hooked me.
Yeah I hope for a good one too, I even enjoyed the ones from the PS1.
Gonna go head to head with Call of Duty ?
I had a conversation with someone who works at EA over the game, and I was told that the originally had the game much more open, but felt it was boring.
What a mistake…
Needless to say, I played the game, beat it, and then quickly returned it.
I used to loved tha old MOH on ps2 but…can it stand up to todays FPS games?..like Call Of Duty / Killzone / Resistance / Halo even im not so sure it can still be a "BIG" franchise anymore i think quite a few people aint gonna like this comment but…you kno lol…BUT if your gonna have a real go at getting tha MOH franchise back playing wit tha BIG guns(No Pun) of FPS genre go back 2 Frontline look what you done with that i loved that! Was probly 1st game that got me liking FPS games.

Frontline was without a doubt one of the best FPS's back then. If they could do something new and fresh like they did back then, but this gen, it would be greatly appreciated! MoH Rising Sun was crap too but I did have a lot of fun with its MP. =)
But what I am really hoping for is that they start fresh for this one. They have been extending off of what they had for so long now, I think since MoH European Assault back in '04/'05 or something.

I would love to see MoH franchise go back to the roots. I mean bring back the lone wolf-saboteur Lt. Jimmy Patterson and Manon Batiste! Patterson could destroy V1 rockets, ME 262, Big Greta Railgun, U-Boat or storming Omaha Beach with his own hands alone.
I miss the original MoH and MoH: Underground with their great stories and musics 🙁
There is too much open ended warfare games like Cod, Resistance etc. Just give back the saboteur style gameplay with first-person view 🙂
I loved Frontline and Rising Sun, I would love it if they made a new one. Airborne was kinda lame. Well, average at best.
I liked the whole parachuting aspect that starts off every mission in Airborne, but other than that, it was no different. I still have the first MOH for PS1 and it's still the best IMO.
Don't die on me!!
I ain't playing COD series for the rest of my life.
