As we reported yesterday, Dylan Jobe and other members of Incognito have left to form their own studio , which will be known as Lightbox Entertainment.
However, many are all wondering the same thing: what will be Lightbox's first project? And will it be exclusive to the PlayStation 3? Well, as for the latter, Jobe already stated that they'll continue to makes games for the "PlayStation family of platforms," so we certainly don't expect anything they do to arrive on the Xbox 360. In regards to the game they'll be working on, Kotaku has stumbled across an interesting quote by Jobe:
"We're incredibly happy to continue working with Sony Computer Entertainment America and World Wide Studios. We've got a great relationship with them and I'm really proud of our new partnership. With regard to the inevitable 'What are you guys working on?'… It's way too early to comment on anything but I can say that we have some really exciting stuff in development that our Warhawk fans *and* new players will love."
It's a game described as " Warhawk in space," and we're all sorts of intrigued. The current PS3 online multiplayer title began its life as a standard single-player experience, but few will complain about the eventual result; it remains one of the best online games out there. The many fans are definitely clamoring for something new, though, and it seems Lightbox will deliver it. We have no idea when , exactly, but we'll certainly keep on eye on things.
