The digital download is not only becoming better and more diverse with every passing year, it's also getting a bit more expensive.
Wipeout HD was one of the first titles on the PSN to cost $20, and last year's Braid on Xbox Live cost $15. Many games only cost between $4.99 and $9.99, but there are a few that cost more to produce and are slightly deeper in terms of substance, and one of them will be Watchmen: The End is Nigh . According to Joystiq, Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed that the episodic title will release to the PSN and XBLA with the "luxury" DLC price of $20 (it will also cost $20 on Steam). Now, maybe you'll consider this game worth the price once you lay your eyes on the screenshot gallery ; it's pretty well polished. It's hard to tell how the game will turn out, though, so we suggest waiting to see a few reviews before dropping the $20. We especially recommend this based on the sheer number of options currently available on both the PSN and XBLA; excellent titles like Flower – for only $10 – may be more worthy of your time.
But we do have high hopes for Watchmen , just because we always secretly wish that a decent superhero game will arrive, be it downloadable or not. The game is scheduled to release on March 5.

I'll watch the movie before I think about it.
The movie will be stunning no doubt…but as for the game…i will indeed be waiting for the reviews to come in…20 is a hefty fine…
hmm, both look…. different. could be good, epic, or epic fail.
Even if this gets moderate reviews twenty bucks is not much for a full game, so I might get it. Even if just for a new back story
