Last year, God of War: Chains of Olympus developer Ready at Dawn announced they'd be abandoning PSP development and moving on to bigger and better things. We all assumed this meant a next-gen project of some kind, and now it appears that project is in full swing.
According to PlayStation LifeStyle, Ready at Dawn is indeed hard at work on a new IP for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. We don't have any details at this time, but apparently, the game will be "something along the lines of God of War , Daxter or possibly Okami ." …that's kind of a big range, but it wouldn't be any surprise to learn that Ready at Dawn was creating a title similar to Chains of Olympus . After all, they've proved they can do it once; why not do it again? We're hoping to hear more about this one at some point, and there's the possibility it will pop up at this year's E3. But remember that this team talked about possibly returning to the PSP when Sony released some promising numbers for their handheld; more than a few devs who had jumped ship considered coming back at the time. But it appears that Ready at Dawn really has decided to move past portable game development and try to compete with the big boys in the PS3/360 realm. So would you rather this title be similar to GoW or a platformer like Daxter ? Or maybe something more original and artistic like Okami ?
Personally, I wouldn't mind another slam-bang action title like GoW. After all, when you produce something that good, it's usually a good idea to stick with a winning formula. And besides, this is supposed to be an IP…
I don't have a PSP yet, therefore haven't played Chains Of Olympus myself… but the videos and screen shots I have seen it looks mighty impressive. Any new IP this troop makes would be worth a look… good luck to them!

I havent bought a game for the psp since mgspo but the demo of this was quite good so please let this possibly new ip be good real good or its just gona go unoticed
I played the Chains of Olympus demo sometime in the middle of last semester. I ended up voting for Crisis Core over GoW on all PSP "[whatever] of the year" polls.
I'd like to see something like Okami. Why ask for somethign GoW-esque when GoW III is coming out?
My sentiments exactly. I would love another Okami like game that is not on the damn Wii and they can take a short walk off a long pier if they want to do a God of War with the third one coming from the people who do it best.
Chains of Olympus is amongst the the PSP titles that made me forget I was playing on a handheld, no exaggeration. Having played some of Daxter, too, it's clear that Ready At Dawn (RAD also stands for "Rapid Application Development" to software devs) knows what they're doing, and they work quite quickly, too.

Would they be able to do something That's GOW like on the 360? i mean is that legal? also on a side note, I love okami very much =D i beat it like 5 times, but someone stole my memory card 😐 i would love even a next gen upgrade version with the same story if they would do it =O even 60$ for the same game i wouldn't mind
A multiplat from a handheld company sounds fishy, if Chains of Olympus was also on the DS it would have sucked balls.

Iv been on a RPG mode because of you guys lol.
Iv already beaten kingdom hearts and am on the second one. I think those games are amazing. IDK if you've ever played them but they are good. I might look into GOW. But ill keep on my RPG fix till then.
