Our hearts jumped a little when we saw the title at Kombo, but it's kinda misleading: "Final Fantasy VII PS3 Hitting In April." They probably did it just to generate a ton of traffic, but the reality is, they're only talking about "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children."

It's still very cool, though. This here is a picture of the Limited Edition FFVII:AC PS3. The console itself is called "Cloud Black" and as you can see, it comes specially ornamented with that white symbol. It will be shipped "individually numbered and packaged with a Blu-Ray version of 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete.'" Obviously, as this will only be available in Japan, it would makes sense that Sony promotes the Blu-Ray release of AC that just so happens to come with the Final Fantasy XIII demo. Oh, and let's not forget that the system in question is the massive 160GB PS3, so consumers certainly shouldn't feel shortchanged for their 49,980 yen (about $550), which they'll be able to drop on April 16 for this awesome bundle package featuring the Cloud Black PS3. Yeah, it's coming with the demo, and we know the demo won't break Japanese borders, so it's extremely unlikely that this bundle will show up in the U.S. (or anywhere else). But we figure it's okay to gawk at a tasty morsel we'll never get…even if it is slightly depressing.

Just don't go misinterpreting that headline; there are probably several other sources that didn't actually read the article, so weird rumors could be running rampant. Pay no attention; the dream of a Final Fantasy VII PS3 remake is dead .
