Everything moves so quickly in this industry; if you stand around analyzing one event for too long, you're bound to miss the lead-in for the next event.

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas concluded this week, and the next industry gathering will be held in San Francisco in March. It's the annual Game Developer Conference, and according to DevelopMag, many big-name titles will be on display. First up, Double Fine's lead simulation programmer Paul Du Bois will host the "Robotic Testing to the Rescue Seminar," which talks about the benefits of their automated testing framework used for Brutal Legend . Then, we'll get a special programming presentation called, "Practical SPU Usage in God of War III," which should be great for tech buffs who are anxiously anticipating Sony's hot action title. Thirdly and lastly, Naughty Dog will be on tap to handle a few presentations that will involve the original Uncharted , which is why everyone is assuming that Uncharted 2 will make some sort of appearance. These are key games for the 2009 software lineup, and we can't wait to learn more about them. Also, we may see a few big announcements at GDC 09, and many are hoping one of them reveals a price cut for the PlayStaiton 3…

Anyway, we'll keep you apprised of all the developments in March, because we don't want our readers to skip a beat. There will be a whole lot of "in-the-know" people at GDC (there always are), so stay tuned!
