Qore Ep. 8 Features Killzone 2, Home Receives New Updates

Thursday is always a good day to log on to the PlayStation Store, and this week, you can expect to see the new Qore episode (Episode 8), which ought to be well worth your attention.

In addition to what Sony is calling an "onslaught of Killzone 2 content as well as exclusive info, interviews and downloadable media," Qore 8 should be a crowd-pleaser for only a few bucks (if you don't already have an annual subscription, that is). This one offers a sneak peak at Killzone 2 – this alone should be enough to warrant a purchase – inside information on the upcoming F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin straight from Monolith Studios, an interview with DJ Qbert who created music for the Street Fighter franchise, and extra DLC. Also, bear in mind that more PlayStation Home content is on the way, and this week, PS3 owners will receive the new Red Bull space (we figured we'd see it this month), the Ligne Roset and Diesel stores, and those nifty new Killzone 2 costumes for your Home avatar. Just remember, you have to pre-order Guerilla's hotly anticipated shooter through Amazon.com if you want access to the costumes.

For only $2.99, Qore is typically worth a look, and Episode 8 is no different. Killzone 2 is garnering a great deal of headlines early this year, and if you haven't gotten a close look yet, now's the time. And make sure to peruse the rest of the PSN for all sorts of cool new stuff.

You get the demo after selling your soul, i.e preorder KZ 2 at gamestop

I am starting to boycot GameStop. Plus, I'd rather get a clothes for my avatar than to play a demo. I probably won't buy anyother game until the fall (COD6: Modern Warfare 2) so I will be playing that the rest of the year.

I really hope Sony will advertise Killzone 2 before launch. They failed to do it before LBP's launch and that resulted in lower-then-expected sales, so I hope they learn from their mistakes.

Yeah Home already has the items but I think the NA Home Community people said the Diesel and Ligne Roset store fronts would be up after the update so you don't have to go through the pains of finding the items.

I won't buy Qore; saving all dollars for a couple of the exclusives this year… Playstation Home already gives me hours of free entertainment… looking forward to playing the Red Bull game though!

Everyday, closer to Killzone 2 release… the tension mounts!

Good I'd like to see some new stuff in Home. Sony is gonna have to RIDE KZ2 like Microsoft rides Halo, just pimp it out with ads.

They're a little slow at realising they need to blitz the media!

That's too bad. I would love to see Sony kick some ass.

It's got the makings of a blockbuster…Sony just has to provide match to light it up.

I thought the amazon KZ2 costumes weren't available till after the game release? Amazon.com says, "Codes to access your bonus costumes will be sent no more than ten days after the game releases." Or does this mean just if your unlucky it can take that long?
