You know, the only reason we keep using Jade Raymond's pic for her upcoming next-gen title, I Am Alive , is simply because we can't find any damn screenshots just yet. Hence, we at PSXE apologize for forcing you to look at her every time we have something to say about Ubisoft's ambitious project. Really, we're so very sorry.
…anywho, according to the Videogaming247 blog, a "reliable source" has said that I Am Alive will debut at next month's games convention in Leipzig. Ubisoft won't confirm this, but the game was officially announced at E3, which means that – at the very least – it exists. If you missed the debut trailer, feel free to watch it now ; it shows an intense and intriguing scene that proves what humans value when the chips are down (hint: it ain't money). Essentially, the city of Chicago lies in complete ruin – although we're not quite sure why – ad it's up to you to survive. It could be labeled as action/adventure or possibly survival/horror, but either way, with Jade Raymond and her team at the helm, it has promise. Anybody who can produce Assassin's Creed has our trust.
We heard that we can expect more big news at Leipzig this year, and the unveiling of I Am Alive can probably be construed as "big." We won't be there (that's a damn long way), but we'll certainly keep you apprised of all goings-on at the convention. It's the wonder of the Internet.
