Update: We're assuming this is only for Australia and perhaps other PAL regions. The news comes from Activision and it's the Australian branch of Kotaku…in North America, it's Capcom who has the official word, so we're going by their info. It's gotta come today.
Geez, what now?
This is something we're going to have to clear up within the next day or so…well, it'll clear itself up if this report is only for Australia and other PAL regions. But Kotaku is reporting that the playable demo of Devil May Cry 4 , recently announced by Capcom as becoming available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace today, has been delayed for the Store. The PSN won't see it until February 1. However, as it's the Australian branch of Kotaku that made this statement, perhaps the demo is only delayed in Europe, Australia, and PAL regions in general, and it's still on track for North America. The news apparently comes from Activision, but they did not provide a reason for the delay.
Now, we're still going to be checking the Store today to see if the DMC4 demo pops up, in the hopes this news doesn't apply to North America. But if it's not there, we now know the reason why. Don't leave us PS3 owners out in the cold, Capcom!
