Certainly the biggest release of February will be Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 , which marks the continuation and next-gen debut of one of the industry's best franchises. We've got some new details on the playable demo, which will arrive for the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace on January 31!
According to a member over at the NeoGAF forums, the demo will feature an Exterminator mode where players can simply attempt to get as far as they can within 10 minutes of play time. Evidently, the goal is to reach and defeat the area's boss, Belial, before time completely runs out. They also talk about a brand new enemy, the One-Eyed Dark Swordsman, who can summon demons and even drain away some of Nero's stamina. He should prove to be a worthy foe, and we definitely expect to see many different enemies in this new iteration of the revered series. But above all else, the official English site for DMC4 has revealed that this demo – previously rumored to arrive tomorrow – will hit the Store and Marketplace on the last day of January.
Remember, we're only a few short weeks away from the release of DMC4, so now is a great time to throw up a playable demo. Stay tuned for our hands-on impressions!
