If you're a PS3 owner, you're probably well aware of Naughty Dog's downright fabulous Uncharted: Drake's Fortune . And if you're one of our loyal readers, you're also aware that it shared our prestigious Game of the Year award with God of War II , which is a damn fine achievement. Therefore, we couldn't be happier to learn of the sequel, which is officially in the works if a translated interview from French gaming site Jeux-France is accurate. Obviously, that's a very broken translation, but it's not hard to decipher: Uncharted 2 is on the way! The original, while awesome, was only about 8-10 hours long, so we're definitely thirsting for more. We have no additional details at this time – oh, take it easy; Uncharted just came out a little while ago! – but we'll be sure to keep you posted.
Some say sequels hurt the industry, but in our humble opinion, sequels just so happen to be some of the finest video game creations on earth. We could start naming titles, but that could take a really long time… Let's just say video game sequels and movie sequels are two very, very different things.
