Sony followers were shocked to learn that Capcom would be bringing their super-hot action series, Devil May Cry , to the Xbox 360. The first three installments in the award-winning franchise were exclusive to the PS2, but with this new generation, exclusive titles are becoming more and more rare. However, with all the recent evidence we've gathered, it still seems as if the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 will be the superior version. Capcom claims both will be identical, but check this out-

Not long ago, 1Up laid their hands on the latest build of DMC4 and said the PS3 version looks and plays better than the 360 version. The publisher maintained that both PS3 and 360 owners would be getting the same experience, but 1Up isn't the only source to claim the PS3 version is slightly better. Furthermore, if we take a gander at this month's issue of Famitsu, we learn DMC4 on the PS3 should have exclusive content unavailable with the 360 version. Among this content is 5.1 LPCM audio support, PSN options and the ability to install 5GB of data on the PS3 hard drive. Yeah, that's a big chunk, but it reportedly erases all loading times! That's just sick. The audio is a nice bonus, too, but we have questions about the PlayStation Network support.

As we all know, DMC has always been – and will probably continue to be – a single-player game. Therefore, as multiplayer seems out of the question, we have to assume Capcom is planning expansion content, like new characters, weapons, stages, etc. On top of it all, they plan to release a special Devil May Cry 4 PlayStation 3 bundle in Japan to celebrate the game's launch. Taking everything into consideration and gathering up all the scraps of info and details that have circulated over the past few months, we have to conclude the PS3 version of DMC4 should be the better buy. There's no guarantee of that, and we won't know the final verdict until the game actually hits store shelves, but even so… The evidence is fairly clear.
