We always like to see crossover talent in the entertainment industry, especially if one of our favorite '80s cartoons is involved.

Perhaps you didn't realize it, but the main character in Lost Planet: Extreme Condition , Wayne Holden, is based upon the real-life Korean actor, Byun-hung Lee. And even if you did know that, you almost certainly didn't know that Lee has signed on to play Storm Shadow in the upcoming G.I. Joe movie! Capcom dropped this information in one of their blogs , and we think it's a damn fine idea. While we have to wait until 2009 for the movie's release, we figured it would only be a matter of time before a true American icon like Joe would find his way to the big screen. Furthermore, Lee should fit into the role of Storm Shadow nicely.

Stuart Beattie is handling the screenplay for the film, and he's also penning the impending film adaptation for Gears of War . If they can manage to sign even more professional talent in 2008, we certainly have high hopes for "G.I. Joe." And congrats to Kim for having an impact on both movies and video games; it's a feather in your cap, dude!
