If you're one of the many looking forward to the Omega Dawn expansion pack for Warhawk , we've got some good news for you: according to Eurogamer, Sony has revealed the exact release date, and it's a lot closer than you might think.
The game's producer, Dylan Jobe, had recently said the pack would arrive this month, but without an official date, we were concerned this one might slip into 2008. Not to worry, though; Omega Dawn should hit the PlayStation Store on Thursday, December 20 for both North America and Europe. The latter pack will cost GBP 3.99 while the North American version will retail for $7.99. We've already posted up the full fact sheet along with brand new screenshots for the expansion, and as you can see, it's very appealing. That new dropship will add plenty of new strategy, and being able to fly at night is one of the best ideas Sony could've implemented with the new map (Omega Factory).
If you don't yet have Warhawk , you can always download it from the PSN for $39.99, purchase the standalone Blu-Ray copy for $59.99, or the Blu-Ray version that comes packaged with a Jabra Bluetooth headset for $69.99. If you have it already, make sure to visit the Store to pick up Omega Dawn ; it's an essential for avid players of the game.
