Yes, we're all having a ton of fun with Rock Band over here in the States, but what about our European friends? When are they going to get to throw down with multiple plastic instruments? When are they going to get the chance to become virtual rock Gods? Up until today, we weren't entirely sure.

But now we are. Evidently, an EA insider confirmed with RewiredMind.com that Rock Band will arrive in the UK and Europe for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PS2 on March 6, 2008. They didn't provide us with a price, but we imagine it'd be similar to the $169.99 the package costs here in the US. Now, that's a pretty long wait for one of the best games of 2007, but at least it'll show up at some point. Of course, there is a bonus to waiting the extra months…perhaps the European version of the game will release with more songs. It's not impossible, right? Furthermore, they have time to add even more songs to the PlayStation Store/Xbox Live Marketplace, so with a longer wait comes more potential.

Yes, we're just trying to take the sting away from this announcement. But to make yourselves feel better, think about all those great games other regions received that you never saw. Rock Band is definitely coming, so that's good news. Kinda.
