This will not only serve to keep that Bioshock PS3 rumor from resurfacing, it's also generally disappointing for PlayStation 3 owners. Well, provided we're not reading too much into it, anyway.
According to a recent job listing over at Gamasutra, 2K Boston is looking for a bunch of talented individuals to help 'em out in the realm of art, level building and animation. On the surface, this appears to be nothing more than your typical, run-of-the-mill employment advertisement:
"Do you believe video games are art? WE DO! 2K Boston, the studio behind the art-deco inspired underworld dystopia known as Rapture, is looking for talented Artists to help bring our next vision to life."
But the jobs themselves aren't the point of interest, here. What's intriguing is the fact that they only list the Xbox 360 and Windows as platforms for whatever this new title is, which means PS3 owners are once again kept in the dark. 2K just got finished telling all the rumor mongers, "there will be no Bioshock on PS3," and now it appears their next project – whatever it might be – won't find it's way to Sony's next-gen system, either. While it's not good news, things have been known to change over time in this industry, so keep your fingers crossed.
