Several sources around the Internet, including GameDaily and GTC (Gran Turismo Center), are saying the U.S. might be getting the massively anticipated Gran Turismo 5: Prologue demo on the PlayStation Store in February.
This is the first evidence we've seen of Prologue coming stateside, as to this point, it has only been confirmed for Japan and Europe. Perhaps the biggest demo in the history of demos will hit Japan in both Blu-Ray disc and PSN downloadable form on December 13. Currently, there is a demo for Prologue (yeah, a demo for a demo) on the Japanese Store, and we just learned this will stay there until November 30. Initially, Sony and Polyphony had planned to remove it on November 11, so that's good news for those of you who haven't had the time to download it yet.
But the big news is that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue will be available in North America "early next year," and evidently, this could translate to February 2008. We can't imagine why they wouldn't want to release this in the U.S., and we're very happy to see this news…even if it is only a rumor. Hopefully, this will be confirmed some time soon.
