Even though Grand Theft Auto IV has been delayed until next year, perhaps one of the most anticipated action games of 2007 is the very GTA-like Kane & Lynch: Dead Men . This is one title that's bound to get the anti-game activists screeching at the top of their lungs, but hey, what can you do?

They'll start their screeching right around the time of the big holiday push, too, as the title has received an official release date for PAL territories (Europe and Australia). While gamers in those territories almost always have to wait longer for high-profile titles – sorry, guys – this is one time where the wait will be minimal. While this intense crime/action extravaganza will hit store shelves in the U.S. on November 20, it will arrive in Europe and Australia only three days later on November 23 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. See? That's not too bad. At least we're not talking about weeks or months, right?

As you can see from our preview, K&L is shaping up to be one of this year's most intriguing titles. Working in some co-op and strategic gameplay, the developers take a relatively simple concept and turn it into a robust and dynamic gameplay experience. …at least, that's what we're hoping they did. Well, gamers around the world will be able to find out for themselves come Thanksgiving time.
