Dutch gaming website PS3Only revealed several interesting new details concerning the European Gran Turismo 5 Prologue , but it appears they may have been jumping the gun a bit.
The source reported an estimated price for the Blu-Ray version of this massively anticipated demo, and marked it at about EUR 45. This seemed very high for just a demo, but then again, with what gamers are getting, it almost seems like a full game. However, Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer that no such price has been established and the cost is "still to be decided." Those who were taken aback by the admittedly high price – it translates to about $60; the standard price for a full game – can breathe a little easier now. But on the other hand, it's very possible that the demo could be in that general vicinity.
Sony also said we should expect both the PSN and Blu-Ray versions of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue before the end of the year…which is hardly an exact release date, but hey, we'll take it. And when more info becomes available, we'll be sure to tell you about it ASAP.
