There are plenty of great games on the way for 2007, and Unreal Tournament 3 certainly qualifies as one of those potentially great titles. Unfortunately, while we were all relatively certain we'd see this hotly anticipated FPS in November, it now appears "there's no guarantee of that."

Epic Games VP Mark Rein made the following eye-opening post over at the official Unreal forums-

"We do not know exactly when the game will be completed. All we've said is that we're hoping for a November release but as you know we value getting it right over getting it right now so there's no guarantee of that."

Well, we certainly want them to get it right. If we have to wait for a truly stupendous product, than so be it. But this is the first we're hearing of any possible delay, and while that November release date remains, it is possible that UT3 won't hit the target. It would be sorely missed for the holiday season, but again, we have complete faith Epic will do what needs to be done.
