Sony and Sega have announced that Yakuza 5 is finally coming to the West. It'll release in North America on the PSN next year.
This is a result of Sony's #Buildingthelist campaign, which asked gamers to name third-party titles they most wanted to see on PlayStation platforms. Thankfully, Yakuza was one of the most requested games, so now we're getting the well-received Yakuza 5 . Furthermore, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza: Dead Souls will be available to download starting tomorrow, so you can get all caught up.
The last franchise installment to see a Western release was Yakuza 4 back in 2011.

Finally! If it doesn't get a European release I can at the very least import it. I heard this wasn't just a carbon copy of the previous game like Yakuza 4 was to 3, I might be very interested in this again.
