For all you avid Kingdom Hearts followers, here's a must-own for your collection.

Come December, Square Enix will bring Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX to the PlayStation 3 and as an extra bonus, there will be one heck of a Collector's Edition.

Not only will you receive both Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 , you'll also get HD remasters of the first two games in the franchise (which originally launched on PS2), Re: Chain of Memories , Birth By Sleep , and streamlined movie adaptations of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded . The latter two titles first appeared on Nintendo DS, if you're wondering. Then there's a 30-page art book and Heartless plush toy.

Yeah, it retails for a hundred bucks but it's quite the collectible package, wouldn't you say? However, bear in mind that you can only purchase it via Square Enix's online shop .

I'm getting the game as Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is by far the best HD collection transfer I've seen. However nothing in this Collectors Edition entices me. Put in a proper A4 artbook with a minimum of 150s at least. What is the point for a 30 page flipbook. I got the same with my Final Fantasy X HD Collectors Edition and it just stays in the box.

Can't wait for the release though, not played Kingdom Hearts 2 since launch and now that I have beat Chain of Memories I think it will make much more sense…

I got KH 1.5 to give the series a try but was quickly pulled away and there it sits. Dunno if I'll ever get to it (no time) but at least I'm safe knowing Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't coming any time soon… or later on.

After replaying through KH 1, I think it was a good game at the time it released. It's nice to play for the story and to catch up. Learn some basics of the series. I think I might have satiated my desire to replay it forever.

KH2, though, was absolutely stellar. It was exactly what a sequel should be. The story was actually longer and the gameplay was probably one of the best of all PS2 games on harder difficulties. (Easy modes you can easily get by with button mashing.) I can't wait for it.

And now I wish I didn't buy 1.5 last year. ;-;
