Okay, so let's say you've been missing out on Assassin's Creed entries and you've always regretted it.

Well, now's your chance to catch up: Ubisoft has announced a new franchise bundle for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; it's "Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection" and it'll be ready to go on October 28.

This attractive bundle will deliver the last three titles: Assassin's Creed III , Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed III Liberation HD . That's a huge amount of bang for your buck, wouldn't you say? And obviously, as you might've guessed from the title, all these installments are set in the Americas. We don't have a price just yet but chances are, it'll be a pretty darn good deal, considering the sheer amount of play time the package will offer.

Don't forget that two more series iterations will arrive this year as well, both of which will launch on November 11. There's Assassin's Creed Unity for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and Assassin's Creed Rogue for the PS3 and 360.

I thought AC3 was great story-wise, and AC4 gameplay-wise.

Liberation was sadly average, though.

Holds my chin up high in gamer pride. I don't need this. I'm current with all of my AC games. (with the exception of the poopy Liberation game. blargh)

I'm loving the gameplay in AC:BF. The story is alright, but I'd say the first 2 were more drawing. Naturally, a lot of things have been unveiled, so it's not as likely to have the same intensity of the original message.

I still give props to the writers and developers as a whole. This series is GOLDEN for the amount of releases we get.

Black Flag is easily my favorite of the series.

They need to keep the pirate based Black Flag formula as a stand alone AC spin-off series. The thought of entering Unity without the breadth of Black Flag's offering just feels off to me right now.

EDIT: I feel like a huge reason why Black Flag scored so well is because of how large of a shake up the game felt from prior games. With Unity appearing to go back to it's roots I wouldn't be surprised if it gets slammed for being too tired in it's classic approach.
