After the blockbuster movie "Godzilla" hit theaters around the world, Bandai Namco has announced a new game based on the legendary radioactive beast.
Simply called Godzilla , this PlayStation 3 exclusive could be a blast: We get to play as Godzilla himself. According to a Famitsu report (as translated by CVG ), you go around wrecking cities and facing off against some of his most recognizable foes. The game will encompass the many generations of "Godzilla" movies, so we can see the beast as he was in the 1950s, all the way up until the modern-day iteration.
The game has only been confirmed for Japan and it might stay that way. I kinda want to see some gameplay, though.

I remember a Godzilla game was the reason I imported the Dreamcast. Definitely going to have to import this. . Wrecking cities has been my thing since sinking all my lunch money into Rampage at the 7 11 before school. Slightly off topic, but my kids already know if Sony ever got Incog back together and made a War of the Monsters sequel, they are out of the will and I leave everything to Sony.
War of the Monsters. THAT was an awesome game. I remember playing it endlessly. The creature designs were amazing. The battle system could have been better, but overall loved the game, especially that 50s/60s era.
