Whoa, Bollywood is on the ball.
The Indian cinema that has a long history of imitating popular game releases strikes again: According to Kotaku (via IndianVideoGamer ), a new Bollywood movie is basically Watch Dogs on the big screen.
It's called "18.11" and it's obviously ripping off Ubisoft's recently released title, as evidenced by new posters like the one seen here. However, the environment in the movie doesn't really match the game, despite the promotional materials. They do make a reference to "extraordinary software," though, and it's probably not coincidental that we're hearing about this movie mere days after Watch Dogs hit the market.
The game in question has received a relatively warm reception from the critics, and it broke day-one sold-through records for Ubisoft. We called it a fantastically ambitious game that doesn't quite qualify as a masterpiece.
Best rip-off from Bollywood has to be MJ's Thriller, though it's not a game.
But I didn't know they imitated other video games as well.
Just wanna ask, although the game ain't masterpiece, is it good enough to be in the running for GOTY?
