More well-earned rewards for Naughty Dog's masterful The Last Of Us .

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) have handed out their annual awards, and the PlayStation 3 exclusive took home five total honors, including the coveted Game of the Year Award.

Grand Theft Auto V and the Vita hit Tearaway landed three awards each, but it was TLoU that got the most acclaim. Visit GameSpot for the full list of winners; in addition to GotY, The Last Of Us won Best Action and Adventure, Best Story, the Audio Achievement Award, and Ashley Johnson (Ellie) won Best Performer.

It's weird how often the BAFTAs line up with our awards at PSXE . TLoU won Game of the Year here as well, and we also gave Ashley Johnson Best Character. Best Story went to Bioshock Infinite , though.

Anyway, congrats to all the winners!

Other awards need to follow BAFTA and recognize games for greatness, just so these artists can get some more recognition.

Compare that to the list of winners at Spike's VGAs and you'll see that the latter is more about distributing the awards to the big games just to keep everyone satisfied.

GTA V's multiplayer must have improved by leaps and bounds by the time the votes were cast to win the best multiplayer award. It was a colossal disaster when it launched that my friends and I stopped caring and went back to playing TLoU's multiplayer.
