Child of Light doesn't only offer nostalgic turn-based greatness for one player.

It also gives you the option of cooperative gameplay, as evidenced by this new trailer. That glowing ball of light acts as a partner of sorts, and it can reveal new paths, locate hidden secrets, and assist in battle.

Child of Light is scheduled to launch on April 30, 2014 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC; it'll be a digital title and the cost is set at $14.99. Explore the brilliantly detailed world of Lemuria, enjoy Ubisoft's beautiful UbiArt Framework, and revel in a mechanic that has yet to die out completely. The co-op feature is great if you've got a friend who misses good ol' turn-based just as much as you do.

It would also help if he or she has a great appreciation for artistic achievement, which Child of Light will have in spades .

I've grown to really like Ubisoft over the years. I think it's wonderful that such a giant as Ubisoft are doing stuff like this as well.
They are great.
