Talk about bang for your buck!
Ubisoft has announced the Far Cry Compilation , which consists of Far Cry 2 , Far Cry 3 , and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon . It's in celebration of the franchise's 10th anniversary and it should be great for those who never played 'em all.
Each new installment provided gamers with a rousing first-person shooter experience; Ubisoft commonly introduced new elements and in FC3, they really worked on that immersive open-world environment. As for Blood Dragon , it's a super fun blast from the past set in a modern world; it captivated those seeking a tubular nostalgia rush and was well worth playing. Additionally, don't forget the compelling multiplayer action in FC3, which was easily one of the most entertaining online experiences of the generation.
The Far Cry Compilation will be available on February 11, 2014 for the PlayStation 3, and the cost is an agreeable $39.99.

Far Cry was one of the best experience I had last generation, but I am not completely sure if Far Cry 1 & 2 are worth my time.
I'll patiently wait for Far Cry 4.
Farcry 2 was hands down the best game with malaria ever. A bit repetitive and the bad guys always knew where you where and never missed a shot but it was really immersive and bundled in with Farcry 3 and Blood Dragon at that price, it's a steal.
The BEST game with malaria? There were others?
It kind of makes me glad that I've put off playing Far Cry. Three great games for less than the cost of a new release are quite the value proposition. Hopefully, publishers will put out more bundles like this in the future.
BTW: Thanks for using the word anniversary correctly. It always annoys me when people say something "six month anniversary". Anniversary from the Latin word Annum meaning year.

So this doesn't include the first one? That's a bit of a disappointment. I'll have to think about this one. I like quality games but Far Cry has just never seemed like a series that I *need* to play…
