Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is slated to release next year for the PlayStation 3. It will include Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (previously only released on PS2 in Japan), Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix (previously only released on PSP in Japan) and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics).
We saw the debut announcement trailer at the time; now, here's trailer #2. The thing to remember about collections like these is that although we're looking at updated high-definition graphics, these are still PS2 and PSP games. Therefore, despite the new high-gloss sheen, they will still appear outdated. That being said, the fans really won't care in the slightest because with Kingdom Hearts , it's the presentation and gameplay that ultimately matter. That presentation isn't overtly shiny, but it sure is charming and oh so cute.
And really, where else can you find this kind of charm in the gaming world?

Kingdom Hearts holds up extremely, and frighteningly well. One of the best in aesthetics. Cartoon animation is the way to go.
True. Graphics eventually become outdated, but a good art style is timeless.

Guess i have another reason to keep my Ps3 a little longer. thats ok im still working on my backlog.
