JRPG fans are gonna want this special edition, guaranteed.

Namco Bandai Games America Inc. has officially announced the Collector's Edition for Tales of Symphonia Chronicles . It will be exclusively available on the PlayStation 3 and it'll come to North America in 2014.

The Collector's Edition will feature an exclusive set of five Chibi Kyun Chara figurines from the two games included in the set, a paperback novel detailing the events between both adventures, a multi-disc soundtrack, and special collector's packaging. It will retail for $99.99 and there will only be 15,000 copies made, so jump on it at participating retailers if you want this collectible version.

Chronicles includes a high-definition remake of the original Symphonia title and the follow-up story, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World . Both will have new content in addition to the spruced-up visual presentation. Said Namco Bandia Games America Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing:

"We are happy to be bringing TALES OF SYMPHONIA CHRONICLES to North American fans in 2014 with a feature-packed Collector’s Edition. The TALES OF SYMPHONIA Collector’s Edition is a fantastic offer for TALES OF fans looking for something extra special to add to their gaming room."

That awesome that they are providing that CE but even as a big collector of JRPGs I think whatever they give me for the normal price will do just fine as I'm not a big figurine guy or anything.

Xillia was an amazing entry and I never played Symphonia due to a departure from Nintendo so this update will be sweeeeeeeet.

Also I have to mention that Final Fantasy X and X-2 are taunting me from my shelf, I don't wanna wait but I hafta. Just a bit longer.

I pre-ordered this from Amazon. The Namco store is sold out.
I hope they come out with a CE for Tales of Xillia 2.
