We don't have to wait until next year! Sweet!

As developer Irrational Games told Joystiq , the first piece of narrative-driven downloadable content for Bioshock Infinite , Burial at Sea: Episode 1, will be available this holiday season.

We caught the teaser trailer yesterday, and it reminds us of just how unique and engrossing the Bioshock environments always are. In Burial at Sea, we'll return to Rapture with Elizabeth and it will expand upon the Booker adventure in some way. They don't have an exact release date just yet, but Irrational boss and Bioshock creator Ken Levine said Episode One would be due out "before the holiday." It's the perfect excuse to pick up Infinite again.

Playing as Elizabeth with the tweaked gameplay ought to be totally awesome. Can't wait to give this a try!

Yayyyy, I hope it's of a decent length. I'm gonna be so sad when it finishes and then we have to wait again for the second half.

I enjoyed the Bioshock games. I am still waiting for a GOTY edition for this one. Hopefully they will do that even if its next year and next generation games for the new systems is on the up and up.

Keep playing!
