NIS America Brings The Guided Fate Paradox To PS3

NIS America always comes with the quirky Japanese goods.

The latest has been revealed with a release date over at the PlayStation Blog ; it's called The Guided Fate Paradox and it's coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3 on November 5.

You play as the "exceptionally ordinary high school student, Renya Kagurazaka, who one day wins a shopping mall lottery hosted by a cute girl." Your prize is pretty cool: You get to become a God. The girl is actually an angel named Lilliel and she's gonna assist you with your Godlike duties. You must guide people's fates by entering the Fate Revolution Circuit, which creates a Copy World of reality. That's where you'll face off against all sorts of crazy demons, which are "the physical manifestations of the things preventing people from becoming what they want."

Sounds awfully philosophical…and a touch zany, as expected. If you're wondering about the gameplay, they're calling this title the spiritual successor to Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman . Oh, and you can watch the video, too.

Love NIS offerings but I can't play checkerboard strategy.

This game is a little bit more roguelike than disgaea is. Also the gameplay is extremely different example when you move the enemy moves, it isn't turn based.

How can someone be exceptionally ordinary?

In the world of anime at least, it is when a person is SO ordinary that something is fishy about it. Then they usually turn out to be some kind of alien/esper/time traveler in hiding.
