Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is one of the funnest games of the year. It's the epitome of the non-word, "funnest."

And in a new Game Informer interview with Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, we find out that Blood Dragon has done well from a financial standpoint.

Guillemot confirmed that the digital spin-off was essentially a "mini-AAA game" and it has sold over 1 million units thus far. He added that publishing games like this – and the generally well-received Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – will definitely be part of the company's plan in the future. Furthermore, due to Blood Dragon 's success, there's a chance that we'll soon see a physical copy of the game. Specifically, he said, "maybe we'll go to retail at one point."

And if it does become available in physical format, we'll heartily recommend it. Again. You don't wanna miss the absurdity.

One of the best games this generation as far as I'm concerned, it really proves what we've been trying to tell developers all gen: old gamers are still here!

I see it is bundled with CoJ now, I might have to look into that game.

We need a full Blood Dragon game with Johnny Ringo returning as Rex Power Colt ūüôā

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. This was the most utter waste of time of a game for me. The soundtrack, the story it all was just crap. If i could give word of advice i would advise not playing it at all. 1 hour into it and i regretted my decision let alone trudging through the rest of the game. I havent even completed it yet and I platinumd the original far cry 3.

That's because you weren't alive when all of the awesome things this game draws from were still awesome.

I seem to remember hearing about a Far Cry Collection that would bundle the three main games in one… Can anybody confirm whether I didn't just dream that? I'd probably have to take FC3 for a spin before plunking my cash down for Blood Dragon at retail, and that's not likely to happen as they don't seem like my kind of game.

Blood Dragon is a love letter to anyone who enjoyed 80s movies. If you don't then I wouldn't touch it.

Still need to play Far Cry 3 & Blood Dragon. My backlog is one of the main reasons why im not getting the Ps4 Just yet. I have enough games in my backlog to last me till about mid-summer next year.

I loved Far Cry 3 but when I tried the demo for Blood Dragon… I said to myself — "What is this crap?". Too many corny jokes that were not funny whatsoever.

I would prefer playing Far Cry 3 a second time.
