If you want to test out one of the most anticipated RPGs on the horizon, pay attention.
Namco Bandai Games America Inc. has announced a special Closed Beta Test for Dark Souls II . The test is scheduled to begin on October 5 for players in North America and Europe on the PS3 and via the PlayStation Network. If you wish to participate, pay close attention to the Dark Souls II Facebook page . Beginning September 5, the site will feature news and updates concerning the beta registration process.
And don't think for a second that this beta test will ease you into the challenging world of Dark Souls II . Quite the opposite, in fact: The press release says testers will "delve into one of the most treacherous areas" of the DSII universe, and the experience will absolutely test a player's "skill, intestinal fortitude, and their sheer will to survive." Man, it even sounds frighteningly hard. But if you think you've got the gumption, feel free to take part. Just don't say we didn't warn you!
Dark Souls II is scheduled to land in North America in March 2014 (exact date yet to be determined). It will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. For more, visit the game's official website .

Wait What. March 2014. Ps3 And 360? Odd….
They're Japanese, they do that kinda crazy stuff.
Yeah… It's probably because they made a brand new engine for the game and haven't ported the engine to next gen consoles yet.
I'd gladly take the challenge or I'm not darkswordsmansol!
Nearly finished Dark Souls now.
Might as well try and get prepared for the next one.
