Ben-DutkaWho's up for some squad-based gameplay in Call of Duty: Ghosts ? Good idea?
Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin has Tweeted a brief 7-second video that doesn't show much, except for a menu that has Options, Online Play and Squads.
Rubin hasn't added anything concrete to support that teaser, but it's probably because Activision will show off the game's multiplayer for the first time on August 14. That's less than ten days away so the fans can be patient, right? As for the idea of Squads, I wonder what the CoD faithful think about that idea… It probably depends on how those Squads are implemented in the multiplayer, and how in-depth such a mechanic will be. Just don't change things too much, or you lose your target audience… And IW can't afford to do that!
Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to launch for current-generation consoles on November 5. A next-gen version will also be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but that version remains undated for now.

Im up for squads. Curious how it would play into the mp. But id definitely like to have squads in the sp. Medal of Honor: European Assault and obviously the more in depth Socom games were so good because of squads.
would call of duty work with squads though. from my experience, it works in bf3 because the maps are huge. with the maps i played from previous call of duty games, squad spawn wont really be a good idea. that would probably be pretty hectic in call of duty sized maps. one thing i can see working are group perks though. maybe theyre just renaming the party system to squad system though.
This makes me believe that COD is having an identity crisis and are now grasping at ways to recover a game that is fast heading in the direction of Guitar Hero. Activision, notorious for NOT listening to their game base, are pushing this series into the gutter. I've played every last COD game ever made…and this time around, while I will pick it up for the campaign, it will promptly be returned to gamefly as I plan on forgoing the MP this go round I have seriously had it with the series.
If you want squad based stuff – BF4. COD Ghosts should stick to what the fans know and love – team deathmatch baby! Run and gun heaven

It's probably just the ability to create squads inside a multiplayer match. A feature that was invented a long time ago.
meh i'm not gettin cod so watever. whoever happens to get the game hope u have fun with the game mode.
