If you've been waiting anxiously to expand upon your amazing Bioshock Infinite experience, the time has finally come.

2K and Irrational Games have announced the three upcoming pieces of downloadable content: Clash in the Clouds and two episodes of Burial at Sea. The former is now available for download via Steam on the PC, and it will hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 later this week. It will retail for $4.99, but it's free for those who picked up the $20 Season Pass.

Clash in the Clouds will be heavily focused on combat and delivers four brand new maps with increasingly difficult enemies, along with optional extended challenges. There are actually 60 challenges overall, so there's plenty of bang for your buck. Players will also be able to unlock concept art, voxophones, kinetoscopes and other goodies. This extra content is designed specifically for those who enjoyed the gameplay more than its compelling narrative.

Then there's Burial at Sea, Episodes One and Two. These won't arrive until 2014, unfortunately, but they're story-driven and are actually set in Rapture! That's right, we're going back to the setting of the original Bioshock , and we'll see how the the two plots come together. The gameplay has been altered to give us the "original Bioshock combat experience" and we'll also get new weapons, Plasmids/Vigors, Tears, Sky-Lines and Big Daddies. Sounds awesome!

Episode Two will put gamers in control of Elizabeth as she "seeks to bring closure to her story." This will also be set in Rapture. Each Episode will cost $15 if you don't have the Season Pass but considering what you get, that sounds fair. We get to play as Elizabeth!

Why not just play it?

that would mean stop playing my fighting games =p
I've been hooked. Actually, I've had little free time to play much of anything this last couple weeks.

Well as long as you enjoy it right? I love me some gaming dreams, usually. Sometimes they are scary as all hell.

It'll be interesting to explore Rapture before it was blown to bits. I don't know why they chose this approach, but I'm not complaining!

Awesome on those second two but BOO on the first one. Challenge/hoard maps are the biggest cop out in the history of gaming.

I already shelled out so yeah $20 for all three beats $30 for the only two that I want I guess.

Can't wait to get back to Rapture though, that is going to be so sweet.

I'll pass on Clash In The Clouds, but Burial At Sea sounds great.

Honestly I was really let down by this.

They said the reason why they didn't go back to Columbia for the story DLC was because they had told that story as much as they wanted to.

Sorry, but like there was SO much left to say about characters and events from that game, but instead of explaining them, we are just going back to Rapture… a city that has already had 2 games and multiple DLC's.

How are they even going to explain Booker being alive? The point to the ending of BI was that every Booker that existed died. Well THAT part had better be intriguing to say the least.

it doesn't affect me cos 1 i don't have the game and 2 i don't like buying DLC unless it's super cheap or not at all.

why rapture?
i mean i love the place as much as the next guy, no, more, but come on we need more out of columbias world before we return to the watery depths.
weve already had 2 games, plus what 4 pieces of DLC?
compared to 1 game.
great, for once we actually get a franchise creating a new amazing universe and they instantly turn their back on it!
sigh.
