Well, I suppose he's earned such power.
LeBron James is the cover athlete for NBA 2K14 , which makes sense. The two-time NBA world champion and Olympics Gold Medalist is having the time of his life right now, and his popularity has never been higher in the sports world.
So, why not let him pick the soundtrack for the game, too? James has selected 20 songs to accompany all the action in the upcoming NBA 2K entry; as he said in a statement:
"2K is letting me take control of some important elements in NBA 2K14, including this year's soundtrack. I love that I'm the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack."
2K Sports usually delivers a fantastic b-ball game each and every year, and we're expecting nothing but greatness once again. Of course, the music is a big part of the experience, so here's hoping you like LeBron's playlist.

NBA 2K14 is set to release on October 1 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It will also be available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year.

Actually a lot better than I was expecting it to be. The number of songs I like just about match the ones I don't. Although, I'm not much of a sports game player these days, so it likely won't matter to me too much. It's kind of a cool idea letting him pick, though.
Lebron James is really does run the show. Dang. The list isn't bad. Thank god Lil Wayne names doesn't appear though.
He could have thrown in some ACDC, a little Led, Arrasmith and even some Molly Hatchett. Phil Collins is ok.
Hmm pretty decent..although I'll still use music from my playlist..given that feature will still be available on ps4
Besides the game, don't like LJ, imo he should of stayed with Cleveland and create a dynasty team, instead he wanted to get a ring so freakin' bad.
