If you're still having fun with Call of Duty: Black Ops II , you're likely ready to download the new expansion pack.

Activision and developer Treyarch have announced that the third piece of downloadable content, Vengeance, will be available on the PlayStation 3 and PC on August 1. Vengeance brings us to "exotic locations around the globe and also serves up a new chapter to the Zombies experience with Buried."

You will enjoy four new multiplayer maps. There's Cove, which is set on a small, forgotten island in the Indian Ocean, Detour, which is a destroyed suspension bridge high above an East Coast waterway, Rush, which is a close-quarters brawlfest featuring a former paintball course, and Uplink, a "reimagined adaptation of the fan-favorite multiplayer map Summit." Obviously, multiplayer fans want as much variety as possible, 'cuz the old maps are starting to feel, well…old. Right?

Unfortunately for PlayStation fans, though, the one-month exclusivity deal with Microsoft for CoD DLC will continue into the next generation.

Where does all of Activision's money go? It certainly isn't going into their other games.

With all the money there making atleast they can do is do a better job of updating/patching their games past and present.

is anyome still playimg this game?

I haven't bought a COD game since COD 4.

Only sheep buy this game.

Only kids play it.

Its for the xbox – ps3 gamers are too sophisticated to play COD.

COD is destroying the industry.

just joking folks – can wait – love new maps – "Summit" was one of my favourite original Black Ops maps – and I absolutely loved the remade "firing range" and "nuketown" maps so im stoked for this

Isnt ironic that M$ spent a ton of cash for the one month exclusive for the map packs for the 360 – and yet the COD sales figures on the PS3 are still not far behind those of the 360. I really hope the PS4 releases on Nov 5th and cuts the feet from under the Xbone

It would be ironic if the PS4 COD title outsold the xbone….Activision might actually be forced to reconsider who they want as their bed buddy.
