It might just be Square Enix's most promising game yet.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a crime drama where you must solve your own murder. In the afterlife called "Dusk," you will perform your creepy investigation, and your detective skills are supernaturally augmented. That'll help.

We've finally got some gameplay, too. The following clip shows the aforementioned Dusk realm, and also displays Ronan's special abilities. Some of it reminds me of the detective sequences in Heavy Rain , and the concept reminds me of the oft-overlooked Shadow of Destiny . A combination adventure and puzzle game, Murdered: Soul Suspect appears as if it will appeal to the cerebral gamers out there. Yeah, I know they exist. They're probably the same ones who adored Journey . You're in that group, right?

Pretty sure I'm sold on this. I'm a non-practicing Sherlock Holmes at heart and I love to write about detectives. I also enjoy any game that works the investigation angle. Love the supernatural too. I'll need reviews so it doesn't become the next Amy, but otherwise I'm on board.

Yeah, I'm on board, until/unless this turns out broken like Alone In The Dark.

looks really interesting so far.
but im a bit worried on how fun the actual gameplay will be.
not being able to interact with the crime scene too seems really silly, i mean yea your a ghost and there using that as a excuse for that, but its going to get really repetitive and boring constantly having to possess other people just so you can get the information you need.
whole point of a detective game is looking at evidence and understanding and recreating what happened.
kinda impossible to do that if you cant observe and interact with the evidence, and question witnesses.
