Looks like Namco Bandai is ready to deliver some premium fan service.

"Due to the incredible response for the Tales of Xillia Collector's Edition," the publisher has decided to bring the Limited Edition to US and Canadian retailers. It'll release on August 6 for the price of $59.99. Coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3, this special edition will be limited to all first-run copies of the game and features: Exclusive collectible character profile booklet, soundtrack CD and two DLC costumes.

In this new JRPG, players will follow the paths of Jude Mathis, a promising medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman who is followed by four unseen entities. You can select either Jude or Milla, which means that you'll see different scenes if you play it through twice with both characters. The kingdom of Rashugal has been experimenting with a powerful device that is draining mana from the world, and the hero and heroine must act.

The Tales of Xillia Limited Edition is now available to pre-order at all participating retailers. If you've already pre-ordered the game, you'll be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition. Sweet, huh?

heh…you said "fan service"

I've already pre-ordered it. This is going to be JRPG heaven. I still would without the bonuses but I'll take it.
