If you're looking to play catch up and save a significant chunk of change, the Ultimate Deals are for you.
As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , this week will see the debut of 10 new Ultimate Editions on the PSN. For a limited time, they will be sold at 65% off their normal price; a whopping 75% discount for PlayStation Plus members!
Basically, an Ultimate Edition is a popular PS3 title that is sold with all the extra downloadable content released for that title. These are pretty amazing deals, really. For instance, you can get the Batman: Arkham City Ultimate Edition for only $28.99 ($23.19 for Plus subscribers); the actual value of the game with all its DLC is $58. Get the Max Payne 3 Ultimate Edition for only $29.99 ($20.99 for Plus peeps), and enjoy the fact that the value of the game with all its DLC is $70. There are also special packages for Assassin's Creed III , Far Cry 3 , Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and more.
After May 27, these digital bundles will be available at up to 40% off the total package value. Savings all over the place!
I need a deal on Deadly Premonition.
I agree, World…Im waiting to get that game
When I think of ultimate editions I think of BIG game files. I hope the PS4 is much more accommodating of fuller gaming collections with vastly larger HDDs. They are pretty cheap afterall.
I'd still prefer to buy them on disk, no matter what bells and whistles they added on PSN.
I'm with you. Digital ain't a deal when they disappear someday.
This aren't that great of deals.
lol
Question, which Batman game should be played first, Arkham City or Arkham Asylum?
nevermind.
damn you i already have the persona 4 arena pre-order version. at least the dlc for it are only just 'glasses' and some colour-ways on characters which is lame no matter how pretty they are.
only interested in dmc and transformers. still dont know if theyre even available for aus/nz players
The only thing is, is that these are all multi-platform games and are being offered at 75% off their original sale price not what you can buy them for on disc currently.
Most of these games can be had on disc for $30-$40 and if you want all that digital content and have a pc you can get them for 75% off their current price on steam.
Meaning most of them when on sale can be had for $7.50-$12.50 dlc included. Selling digital copies discounted from their original price point after the disc based versions have had price drops isn't that great really.
